Good news, is yours petrol or CRD??

Funny, I spoke with my dealer today, and he pretty much told me the same thing, except late June, early July delivery. He also called HQ while I was there, and was told E numbers have not yet been allocated for Overland spec vehicles..... He also said he would have more info in 10 days...., so im guessing an early May model launch.

Given my luck, they've probably allowed for a boat sinking -> new car built -> re-shipping lol

They are being built on an almost daily basis. My last report a week ago listed 1,290 built, that number is now over 1,650.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I am advised that Jeep AU head office only provide the E number once the vehicle is actually built.. probably to stop us coming here and tracking !

however, this is in contradiction to the fact that several members here have the E number and Milous is tracking them.. it seems to depend on the dealers relationship with the almighty HQ as to whether they get the E number given to them..

1650 built.... yet "the Australian Spec is unknown" what BS !

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hi All
I saw my local dealer today and he now has a list of options / packages that apply to 2014 GC vehicles. He didn't offer a copy of the sheet but did divulge the option(s) I was interested in for the Limited model.
He still was not sure of standard vehicle specs for Australia though. Has anyone else had a breakthrough in this?

No so far.. All are denying any knowledge of specs, options, price etc

Did you take a look to see what are options? Can compare to page one of this thread
Did you see the Overland options? Was QD11 standard?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Robo, can't help with your queries. the dealer was helpful with specific questions about the Limited, but did not let me read the sheet. I will be going back for a trade-in valuation this week so will broach the options again and see if he is willing to provide a copy.

As a first time purchaser of a Jeep, I still can't believe Jeep AU's customer service tactics and values. We are the paying public keeping them in a job.
