Re: 2014 Summit press images - Europe

The CD is standard in all Limited/Overland and SRT Models in Australia.

Nice! Congrats on the new motor.. If you got it in your summit then maybe it has to be the same in the UK too.

Here is a list of Standard Features and Options for the 2014 Euro models:

http://www.wk2jeeps.com/2014/2014_wk...specs_2013.pdf
From what I could gather, each country has its own peculiarities about what is available, standard or optional, with the only constant that there are less choices to be made than in the US...

For example, if I stick to the SRT that I know best, Switzerland has the choice of all colors and interiors available in the US so far (i.e. barring black Laguna), but has only one wheel type (Black Vapor).

From the French site configurator, it seems that in France Deep Cherry Red and Maximum Steel are not available, same for the Sepia interior. But they can choose from Black Vapor and Goliath when it comes to wheels (no Satin Carbon, though).
When it comes to options, it seems in both countries the trucks will come loaded, without tow package.

It doesn't make sense to me with these trucks being produced in the exact same assembly line as the others, but what do I know?

Congratulations! Hope you like your new ride!

Despite my repeated visits and enquiries at the dealer, there is no precise ETA on my truck, so I remain with the "late August - early September" forecast that I had when ordering (back in March). No luck getting a VIN either...

But I hope mine will be around soon: driving back home tonight I crossed a truck with not one but two '14 SRT on it (and other assorted Jeeps). I guess it was coming from Italy, but I don't know whether it was going to France or Switzerland...
Another reason to pester the dealer (again) tomorrow morning...

Yep it's best to just keep pestering your dealer, they'll eventually get fed up and provide you with real information..

Here in UK we can't even order the car yet, and jeep UK still seem confused about what's going on... I don't think they're on the same page as the rest of the world lol

Dealers still have not been told a launch date in the UK yet, quite frustrating really considering you want to give them money

I test drove a VW Touareg 245hp V6 last weekend and it was so nice, I was soooo temped to leave a deposit for it... If Jeep are still playing dumb by the end of this month Im gonna have to call it quits on the waiting game

Oh, that's even worse than having no info...

The only benefit that could come from it (trying really hard to find something good to say...) is that this increases the chance of the dealers having some accurate information when the UK order books open.

When I ordered mine during the Geneva Auto Show, the regional head for Jeep was around. I wanted the Sepia interior, they had never heard about it and I was told it was not available in Switzerland. A few weeks later, a guy on the forums managed to order Sepia in another European country, so I asked the dealer again, same answer: not for Switzerland.
Two weeks ago, the official price list is published online on the Swiss website... and shows Sepia as an available option...
