Alarm going off for no reason

Last night the alarm went off for no reason, JGC was parked up in the garage no doors open. At first it woke me up and i wondered what the HELL was going on as it was so loud. I checked out my baby and all seamed ok, then 2 hours later it happened gain but this time i was ready as i had my keys beside the bed (just in case).
Took it to the dealer this afternoonbut they could not find any faults on their gadget, and has the latest TSB installed.

Has any one else had this happen?

Cheers

Mine did this the first time I ever locked it, and that was at the airport, thought it was someone else's alarm, kids filled me in, but has never done it since... My beloved reckons its just a big baby, beeping and crying all the time and can't be left on his own....

Re: Aalrm going off for no reason

This has been a common problem for some WK2 there has been a TSB released for it so I would take it in to Jeep and let them fix it.

Re: Aalrm going off for no reason

TSB 08-033-12 was released May 05, 2012 that is supposed to fix this problem.

Not thread mining, our vehicle only just started doing this yesterday.

Re: Aalrm going off for no reason

Mine has not done it since they flashed the ECU, but not with that May 2012 flash.
That will be done when I get the ACC fixed.

Re: Aalrm going off for no reason

After noticing my JGC doing this today for the 3rd time since i've owned it, i'm happy to see there is a TSB for the alarm
