Hey Mate,
Its on the Salome on its way as far as I know. 4week trip, 2weeks pre delivery once I get the heads up from Alex at waitara on the tow bar and Camera installed, I'll have the Triton on the boat and I'll be there.

Cheers

Cool, errrr good luck with Waitara lol.

Hope the ferry trip is a calm one. I did it many years ago and it was pretty rough. I think they have new ferries now though.

Sheesh, I am kinda glad when I bought mine, only needed 14 days to ship out to me, I guess they never accounted for the popularity of the vehicle, but know this, hopefully your cars won't suffer any downtime like ours from the earlier builds

Yeah thanks Bloke lol.
We go the ferry a lot about eight times in fourteen years since moving down here. Wife always gets sick, me, I always enjoy the journey.... A medicinal dose of Jacks always takes the edge off a big swell when the ship is pitching and rolling, mean while my darling is throwing up and doing it tough.
Hope my mates not such a Nancy lol. Seriously though I do feel for folk who are affected by any sort of motion sickness.

Cheers mate.

Price wise - I think I have done pretty good - 70K neat for a TD Overland 14 build plate (End of March ETA) or 73500 for a summit (all 200 2013 built and could have this week)
Newbie question - are those prices including or excluding stamp duty, luxury car tax, GST etc? What're the quotes including those amounts?

Cheers,
JD

Re: About to Buy a Jeep GC in Brisbane - Advice Needed.

They are normally on road prices, but obviously there is variation in comparison depending on your state. I have heard of Overland Diesel for $70k on the road in QLD, that is a very good price, IMO.

Re: About to Buy a Jeep GC in Brisbane - Advice Needed.

Yes, 70k delivered drive away. Diesel GC Overland.

Getting the tow pack fitted the week after to avoid the luxury car tax loading.

Private message me your details and I can forward you the dealer managers details who is looking after me.

I can't promise you he will do it again for that price, but worth a try!

How do I go about tracking my vehicle on here?

Regards,

Brad :-)

Just to clarify - the tow pack is additional and non inclusive of the 70k.

Rocksfly - could I get a copy of your delivery check list too please when you get back? I'm not very mechanically minded - but I'm sure it will be very useful.

Thanks :-)

I'm sure it will be extremely use full. However it has been generated by others and is being sent to me by another member.

Don't see it being a problem to copy you in. Will ask the member who is forwarding it on to me.

Cheers
