Aircon Gas Leak

Hi all.

Noticed on the weekend a new sound when idling that sound like the aircon gas burbling or something similar. It was quite noticable at times and reminded me of older cars where the aircon has become low on Gas.

The aircon is still working at the moment and I can't notice any fog blowing out the vents as yet, but if my suspicions are correct, that will be the next phase.

So my question is, has anyone else had problems with leaking aircon gas or similar?

Re: Aircon Gas Leak

I'd say by the deafening silence, that's a No.
But if you do get it pressure tested and they find a fault, it will be good to have on record for future reference..

I waiting on confirmation this week after the long weekend to find out if I have a possible leak as well.

Re: Aircon Gas Leak

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't had any leaks like that. The A/C is still working OK so will have to monitor......
