Servicing a Jeep WK2 correctly in terms of diag tools? For instance, the oil quality meter - when a service is done is that reset somehow using a tool ?

Just about to book my WK2 Diesel in for a service using a non dealer, providing everything for them and would like to know if they need special tools or anything to complete a service correctly

All the normal servicing can be done by a non-dealer. Resetting the oil can be done using the method at the bottom of this page:

Others have said that this process works for them:

In car, ignition to on (no foot on brake or car will start), press accelerator to floor 3 times within 10 seconds.

If you did the push button, press gas three times, push button, that isn't correct for a diesel. Check the link in prior post, which if that doesnt work you should beat a service department up for.
