Full hoop bar on front, just a different aspect.

Of interest, the prototype ARB WK2 Bar was seen in the carpark amoung 1,000's other 4wd's.
Apparently not important enough to have as part of their show stand.
That bar looks great... I can't wait to see it on a car!

Cheers,
Steve

Heh, I love that they think a nudge bar is a bullbar.

Re: ARB Bullbar Delayed

Update from ARB,
"Part number for the 2011 – 2013 bar is 3450410 and the part number for the 2014 model is 3450420.
"The 2011-13 bar initial production should be starting in the next couple of weeks with stock available I’d imagine October (final dates to be confirmed)."
October which year? I didn't ask.

Scarps,
How do you like the bull bar so far? Can we get some close up pics? I'd like to see what it looks like underneath.

Awesome. That gives me an idea of what my beasty will look like. I'm going powder coated bar with polished hoop though.

Hey Bob, I'm happy with the full bar even though alot of people seem more keen on the Nudge Bar style. I see Dave's now going to make the future models with the thick centre nudge and the thin outer hoops from now on, but for me that style's already being done by ECB. (Who are also now doing a winch option - originally they said 'no way'). Dave's got to cover his costs, so he needs to deliver what customers want etc.

I live just north of Melbourne Airport and the trip to and from is semi rural. Had the crap scared out of me too many times early morning/late night from Roo's popping out of the scrub, plus I wanted the full hoop protection for future high country 4wd'ing and towing a CT through central Oz. I know in a full on bingle everything including the bar has potential to be damaged, but at least now I feel more comfortable that I have some reasonable front on protection.

I'm interstate again atm, but will take some shots underneath for you on the weekend with the sun shining(I hope, but I do live in Melbourne)

The thick aluminium bars look as though they mean business but look is about all they do apart from holding lights. Whereas your steel bars will actually stop roos and come back for more.

Hey Bob, here's a couple of quick pic's I took this morning before work on my phone. Is there a particular shot or angle you want? Happy to try again on the weekend.

Thanks Scarps, that's good. I wanted to get a look at the bash plate. It seems they have removed the plastic belly pan and replaced it with a metal bash plate. A good thing. Those white fasteners that hold the bash plate to the bumper are too overexposed to make out if they are shiny metal bolts or white plastic fasteners. Can you confirm please? I like the logo cut into the metal.
