Congrat Boxheadmr
They do appear to be a better finish than mine but, it seems the step still lifts a little around the Uneek emblem?

Re: ARB Bullbar Delayed

Seems some idiot in a rental truck also decided to help me out with the Uneek Bullbar by trying to wipe it off the front of my car!

Re: ARB Bullbar Delayed

Nasty stuff Mark... fortunately "it's only a flesh wound" and with a bit of help from a cut-off wheel or sabre saw you're still on the road.

In the same vein as being able to tow a massive trailer, I'm not sure that everyone has the requisite skills to operate those rental trucks.

You're not really having a great run mate...

Don't have to worry about the touched up chip anymore.

Thanks but that ain't mine. Congrats to Boxheadmr!

Gee bugger about the side wipe. Your car seems to be in the wars. I thought I read that you lost one of your wheel flares as well.

Re: ARB Bullbar Delayed

Bloody hell, Mark.
Glad you didn't get fully cleaned up.

Hopefully insurance doesn't take long to sort out repair and get parts.

Nasty! I hope the insurance covers it. You might get a new bull-bar out of it.

Re: ARB Bullbar Delayed

Yeah took it down to the assessors yesterday, New Bumper, New passengers front panel, new Rim and New Bull Bar at this point in time.
He said it was really hard to say what else because it wasn't the typical impact type damage and because it was caught and pulled they would need to strip the front end to check the extent of the damage

His concern was the availability of the replacement Jeep parts, but when I said the I really didnt like the Uneek bar and would like to replace it with a ARB, he said that my Uneek was now scrap and since the bars should be around the same price and the front bumper needed replacement there should be no issues in fitting a ARB

Drop it back down there Tuesday morning, for them to strip it and check the extent of damage. Then I will just have see what the waiting time for the Jeep parts will be

I'm sure that was a shocking thing to hear.
