Re: Au srt

I'll double check but I think that's exactly what my mate who has a '13 told me "the 18" only fits on the back!!!"

My understanding is the "full size spare" can only be fitted to the rear as the front rotors are to large.
In my opinion this hardly rates as a full size spare.
And since when has 18" equalled 20"
An extra 2"- would sure keep the wife happier!!

Question: What happens if you get a puncture on the front?

You move the rear wheel to the front and put spare on rear

C'mon............everyone knows that if you get a flat on the front then you start by jacking up the rear of the car and removing a perfectly good rear wheel and put the spare on that.
Then you lower the car, then go and jack up the front of the car and place the good rear wheel on the front.

Then I guess you can lower the car again..................all too easy in my eyes

Re: Au srt

With the run flat tyres, why is the spare even needed?

Re: Au srt

If you hit a large pothole and damage the rim, the runflat will be useless.
Same if you hit something that shreds the tyre. It would not be a deal breaker, but people need to know about this problem.
My FPV had the same issues as they had a different F to R offset.
