Au srt

I am seriously considering a SRT now and would like to get some confirmations as to what is standard on the AU SRT and what the options are, Milous ?

If anyone who has a build sheet or more info can confirm the specs below as standard or optional:

DAB+ Digital radio
Harmon-Karden Audio
Wifi Hotspot
Remote Start
Adaptive headlights
Pano Roof
Performance pages
Black headlining
Choices of interior colour
Exterior paint choices
Full sized spare

Please feel free to add questions or answers.

I have a build sheet but mine has the dual pane roof and 19 speaker audio options included. Adaptive lights are on there - standard I assume. I've created a spreadsheet from my build sheet. I'll see if I can attach it to this thread when I'm back at my pc...

I'm keen to find prices and options for extended warranties for the SRT. I've been given wildly varying prices. I would like to get everything sorted in the next few days so I can focus on picking it up and not weighing up optional items. Does anyone have any specifics on warranty providers, features and costs?

Re: Au srt

The only warranty to get is the one form Jeep that can only be bough new with the car. Apparently they are not allowed to sell it after the car is purchased, which is just JeepAU being assholes.
I specifically do not want a Pano roof as I do not like sunroofs and am tall, so it lowers the roof height. I do however want the HK audio and extended warranty.
Does yours mention the black roof lining on the build sheet ?

I didn't think the digital radio was coming to Australia.

Re: Au srt

I have not seen anything indicating either way. I would hope it was available as I listen to AM a lot and have a DAB+ radio in my office that I use all day. It would be a big selling point for me. Just another tick in the reasons to upgrade box.

Re: Au srt

The pano roof, HK Audio and towpack are I believe the only options.

I don't think we are getting remote start (some AU bullshit law).

Full size spare is included (at least in the 2013 models).

Black headlining is there but its not the "dynamica" that comes with Sepia (unless you order Sepia interior I suppose?).

I doubt wifi hotspot will work in AU (in the US they AT&T, here would have to use Telstra! so I don't expect it will work) bonus if it does!

Pretty much everything else is standard (have a look at the US SRT site.. SRT | Street & Racing Technology | High Performance for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge | driveSRT

Re: Au srt

Below is a table of my 2014 SRT build sheet with HK Audio and panoramic roof ordered as options. I think the terms 'standard' and 'optional' are a bit misleading. Standard appears to mean 'applicable to the US spec vehicle with no options selected' Optional items are 'those that deviate from the previous description'.

*** EDIT*** this was two columns when I tried to copy / paste it in. It's now poorly formatted and I can't be bothered sorting it out again. The code is first follwed by the description.

The top section are all the codes and descriptions of the STANDARD items:

DCRSRT - I doubt your idea of a full size spare is the same as Chrysler - I bet it is a steel rim.

Re: Au srt

Thanks for posting up the list GB, bet you cant wait to get your hands on that beastie.
I guess we will know for sure about options and pricing this week if the rumors are correct.

As for the remote start, there is no law against it, the new VF Commonhore has it. The rule is to do with leaving a running car unattended.
I really hope it is available as it will be nice to warm up the car before leaving home or cool it down in summer.

Re: Au srt

Re- remote start, i think it had to do with the RHD steering column, i do wish i get it, but from what I've heard i doubt it.

If it's the same as the '13's then yes its a steel spare (18" rim with a Kumho tyre to be precise lol).

Is that not what you call a full size spare? Or do you mean the spare should be the same as the 4 wheels already on the car? So a 20" alloy spare with a $450 odd tyre on it? I don't think they will be that generous, even on a $85K + car.

I have my doubts that an 18" wheel would fit over the front brakes of an SRT... I think it would be a tight fit on the rears. Surely jeep wouldn't be so tight as to make us change two wheels if we get a puncture on the front. Maybe they're assuming we'll just carry-on on the run-flats and get a garage to do it...
