However, generally when Woolies offer them, Coles does too and vice versa, so assuming you do back to back shopping and get two vouchers, you fill up immediately and use the second one at the end of the month which could potentially get you close.

Probably safer to calculate 8c discount on average (4c + 4c) by buying crap in the service station and spending five bucks. 8c discounts seem to come up more regularly than 20c so you can save 12c by buying in the shop.

Anyway, I like your thinking. I justified buying the Overland to myself on the basis it would be cheaper to run being diesel.

Does anyone know if you can still fit skid plates for the main tank or are they redundant?

The good news is that Diesel's currently 12 to 15c cheaper than when I originally posted that comment, so even 4 to 8c better than today's price is a good deal.

In terms of the skid plate, I've just ordered both the fuel tank skid plate and the rear transmission skid plate for my WK2 diesel Laredo, and going to fit them later this week. So assuming your Overland has the same tank set up, the answer would be yes, still available.

Actually, their website says they're exporting overseas, so definitely yes.

Wow, that would give me a range of like 900 miles.

Scarps ... Where did you order you skid plates from?

I'm about to order skid plates for tanks, trans and front axle and the quote I got from Tynans was the similar to that from justforjeeps once shipping was factored in.

Local dealer, supply only $2.5k for 3 skid plates plus rock rails. I'm going to save money by installing myself.

Re: Auixiliary fuel tank for WK2

I guess this tank would also suit a Petrol motor ?
They may have a great product if they can do petrol models to the USA, as they like their long range cruising. May also extend the SRT8 range long enough to make it to the next servo

Yes, my understanding on one of these forums is that the Hemi petrol was fitted first.

Correct. A Hemi one was what they did all the development work on.
When I enquired about them they were waiting on a CRD one just to check for differences in fitting, ie. brackets etc.
My understanding is there were none.

Re: Auixiliary fuel tank for WK2

There was also mention somewhere that they wanted to look at a V6, as they may be able to make a bigger tank for it due to the single exhaust pipe.
