Aussie SRT Servicing

Thanks Snuke....................Ok, i have just over 2,000ks on the clock and want to change oil and filter, it's not a scheduled service so i will get my trusted mechanic to do it. I rang a few dealer service centres for pricing and oil type they use, i was surprised of the variances. Price ranging from $190.00 to $350.00, more concerning is the use of different oils, one dealer saying they use 10w-30, i mentioned that 0w-40 is recommended and he said it's a climatic thing....ha?. Can anyone from OZ confirm what oil they are using and there service experience, i will be using Mobil 1 0w-40.

Re: Aussie SRT Servicing

I obviously don't have first hand knowledge yet but found this on the SRT engineers discussion:
