Australian SRT - General Chat

I thought I would start this thread for general chat regarding the Australian SRT.

To kick of the thread, who likes the active headlights on their MY 14?
I am still getting used to it, but I cannot say I am a fan.
My wife had it in her car and I do not use it.

Re: Australian SRT - General Chat

I think they're great. Move in the direction you're heading. Nice.

Re: Australian SRT - General Chat

I did the Ribbon Light Mod on my car over the weekend.
Anyone who wishes to do this mod, should look at the thread. You can either purchase the loom from CLSTech or can easily make up one themselves.
I spent $8.95 for the relay from Jaycar and had the cables and connectors already.

Looks great and took about 20 mins to do.

Re: Australian SRT - General Chat

I noticed in the video when he switched the headlights on near the end of the video, the lights were like a disco lights, did yours do that?

Re: Australian SRT - General Chat

Nope, I think they strobe because of the camera. You see LEDs strobe on TV all the time. Do the mod, it is worth it.

Re: Australian SRT - General Chat

Yes the strobing is due to the camera, and I think it only happens in dim lighting mode.
