It IS heavy though, and no room for a helper to get in behind the drivers seat with you.
There was no thermal blanket on ours and it is easy to see the retaining bracket at the rear of the battery when the drivers seat is moved all the way forward. When that is removed the battery can be wriggled back away from the front retaining lug, then wrestled out. Unless you really have to take it out, best leave it in and work around it, protecting the positive terminal.
Take care when tightening the post clamps again as they are a wedge design and easy to damage.
