Re: Brisbane day trips

They are made to fit into the tracks of a rhino pioneer platform, but you can use unistrut pieces to attach it. Here's how mine fit.

Here's an example of roof racks with unistrut between them on his facebook page:

Re: Brisbane day trips

I accidentally found this track over the holidays. Coming from Noosa to Maleny, google maps showed this as a bitumen road. But it turns into Mapleton Forest Drive, a moderate dirt track with some fun bumpy and twisty bits.

I spotted a few more difficult tracks leading off this one, some had signs saying no access, but others appeared to be accessible.

Re: Brisbane day trips

Did a day trip up to double island point on Tuesday. Pretty firm sand at the moment, and they have fixed up leisha track so its easy crossing to the north side of the point now.

Re: Brisbane day trips

I did a day trip to Lockyer NP yesterday, went from Millers Rd near the prison west across to seventeen mile rd, north up to ravenshoe NP and up to Gus Beutel lookout.

http://www.nprsr.qld.gov.au/parks/lo...yer-np-map.pdf

The first section along redbank creek is a bit rough, and a very steep uphill section. Ended up using low range there.

Found a few mud holes too.
