Hi Sparky,
How are you finding the snorkel, any extra intake noise, extra vision blind spot?.
Have you noticed and performance/fuel economy difference ?.
Any chance of some under bonnet pics :-)

Cheers Yoda

Re: Bullbars...

I'll see what I can do in the next few days in the middle of prep for Cape York leaving in 3 weeks, have 2 months before I'm due back at work . There is a slight induction noise at low speeds and economy has improved slightly on trips but no diff around town no blind spot . The induction noise cant be too bad because the missus hasen't made any complaints . In fact now the roof rack is on she is saying its beginning to look like a touring fourby. I'll be trying to get some good pics of the set up

Re: Bullbars...

Thanks sparky, good to hear it's no worse than other snorkels, I'll understand if you don't get the pics (I know what packing for a big trip is like), no need to brag about a Cape York trip while the rest of are stuck at work (but we do want a full trip report with lots of pics ;-) )

Re: Bullbars...

So here's a pic of my MY14 Laredo CRD with a UNEEK bar just fitted. Its the urban design. I wasn't keen on a white on white look so went with the black/chrome look. The bar is excellent in design and build quality. The fitters reckon its the best designed and built bar they've seen. And they fit many each week even here in Hobart.

The LEDs are great for parkers, indicators but the fogs are not so strong ( look good just not powerful).

I'm really stoked with its effect on the car's look. Half the weight of an ARB bar too means less effect on handling. The lights are Light forces new 180 LED spots. Wow they are great but $$$$ ouch!

Strongly recommend the Uneek guys. Product and service was excellent.

Re: Bullbars...

Thanks for that, I like it, I think the ARB is my favourite.

Re: Bullbars...

Thanks Jasman. I was originally after the alloy ECB, but there was some question about the ACC sensor working properly, and I couldn't get a satisfactory commitment from them. So then was the question about colour - I really hesitated as I thought the red might just be too much, but now I'm very pleased with the result. I did fit some grills in the large slots in the front to keep errant rocks out, and it may look better if the sensor surround was red too.

Re: Bullbars...

Spotted this mob on another thread, some kind of hybrid bullbar/nudge bar.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the price of the colour coded bar?

I think it was about $2850. That included about $250 for the paint, $120 for fog lights, and something for the radar mount kit.
