No, I'm usually loitering around the southside and port area.

Re: Chrome Side Steps

Go for it! They won't last long. But 30% cheaper than the Mopar Aust list price... they must be directly importing. Should be more of it.

Re: Chrome Side Steps

Well, anyone who is not sure about the sidesteps, now's a great time to get them, $660.00 supplied and took me less than 2 hours to install, 1.5 hours for the first side and 30 mins for the second. Once you get in the swing of it it's dead easy.

They supply crappy IKEA type instructions but once you decipher them it's fine. Though I would not bother pulling out the lugs holding the plastic sill trim, you can work around that with a little jiggling. Took a while getting them out and refitting new ones so I didn't bother for the second step.

Pics below incl the shark fin installed yesterday.

Tell wife that the side steps will prevent car park dents, therefore avoid the costly dent removal in the long run. To prove the hypothesis pull the equation (dent removal cost)/(cost of side step) is huge considering the impact car insurance premiums etc. good luck.

They can also be tax deductible if it is work related. If your work involves getting in and out of the car a lot, then these can be classified as a work related expense/work tool to provide easy access. However it has to be legitimate, I have seen many people getting burned by ATO for false claims.
