Clearview Mirrors for WK2

I bought my first set of Clearview replacement mirrors in 2009 from designer and Clearview owner Mike Cowan at the Sydney Caravan Show.

Mike and I got on well and became long distance friends, he living in Melbourne Victoria and me in Queensland.

When I sold our Toyota Landcruiser and bought our MY13 JGC, I immediately phoned Mike and told him that the Jeep was going to be a significant tow vehicle and needed his mirrors.

Already ahead of you mate was the reply.
This was about September 2013 and since then I have been impatiently waiting and harassing
Mike at every opportunity.

Two weeks ago Mike phoned and told me that he was having a week off on Fraser Island and as soon as he got home he would assemble a set for me.
They arrived this week and I am delighted. I have the prototype set and fitted them last night. Fantastic and I can now see the world behind me as I should be able to when towing.
The production mirrors will have the following features:

Indicators
Heated mirror
Memory set function
Full 4 direction electrical adjustment
Blind Spot detection.
100mm extra arm extension
Full body manual folding

I will add pics tomorrow

Pete

Great if towing all the time, but the appearance is too hard for me to handle. Damn my aesthetic obsessiveness!

I should add... the price is very reasonable for what is involved.
