Re: Clicking noise

Found what was causing mine, loose cable in the battery compartment under the drivers seat, secured that and no more clicks

I hope is that simple. Will be searching out all these great suggestions on the weekend. Dealer keeps saying "no fault found"

I will disconnect the speakers in the weekend and see what happens. Cheers
Johnny, did you get this sorted. Mine is doing the same, I'd liken the the sound to a Relay type clicking, right hand side of steering column. Seems to be getting worse, GC just clicked over 45k yesty.

Check cables under the seat.

Re: Clicking noise

I ended up checking all the under seat cables, the ones in the battery compartment too, and found a couple that I thought were dodgy so cable tied and tightened anything that looked loose. It has been about a month now and I have not heard the noise so maybe that worked. The help on this forum has been really good. Very knowledgeable bunch of people. Cheers

What am I looking for?

I presume you mean for connectors "taping" against rails making that clicking sound or is there a specific item that's a known noise generator?

Thanks

Re: Clicking noise

I'm sure mine was a loose connection causing some kind of electrical interference. It was not a knocking noise of something tapping.

Did you ever get this figured out? I've noticed the same thing. It sounds to me like it's coming from under the rear spoiler. I hear the noise outside the vehicle very clearly.
