I am getting a clicking noise from under the drivers seat, it seems to only happen over road bumps. I can bounce in the chair though and it doesn't happen. I have also heard it from rear of passenger seat anyone else had a similar noise?

Iv got the exact same issue for the passenger seat. Can't replicate when vehicle is stationary. Mentioned this to the service guy this morning for the 20k service and he called earlier saying they found a loose bolt. Am about to pick it up and will check if it's actually fixed so hopefully that does the trick!

Alright so the constant clicking at every bump and depression in the road is now gone. Seat is much more solid now.
Dealer said one of the screws at the base mount wasn't torqued to spec which they fixed.
However, I did notice a couple of clicks still on the 20 Min return trip that seemed to occur if I shift weight on the straight, not during a bump. Not sure if this is another part of the seat or what but will monitor. Definitely an improvement though!

The ABS / Stability system will click as it is priming the ABS pump. Comes from under the dash on the drivers side. This may be what you are hearing. It should disappear after a few seconds, each time the car is started.

Thank you for this Enforcer. Unfortunately my noise continues no Matter how long you drive the car. It is intermittent seems to happen over bumps. I have a feeling it is related to the speaker wiring as it is almost like a static noise and seems to come from the lower speaker. I will keep investigating. I will disconnect the speakers in the weekend and see what happens. Cheers

Johnny, did you get this sorted. Mine is doing the same, I'd liken the the sound to a Relay type clicking, right hand side of steering column. Seems to be getting worse, GC just clicked over 45k yesty.

Any of you guys look for loose debris in the electronics cubby under the seat, or in the battery compartment? When I first got my 2011 Limited (used) there was all kinds of racket, found about three dollars in loose change under there.

ive had this issue for about 20,000km, service guys have looked at it twice, the second time they 'fixed some loose panels' and it settled down, used to be really annoying, its under the drivers seat and generally if you press down on front right edge you can sort of replicate it, i explain it as a solenoid sort of click. next time they said it will have to be referred to jeep

What am I looking for?

I presume you mean for connectors "taping" against rails making that clicking sound or is there a specific item that's a known noise generator?

Thanks

I ended up checking all the under seat cables, the ones in the battery compartment too, and found a couple that I thought were dodgy so cable tied and tightened anything that looked loose. It has been about a month now and I have not heard the noise so maybe that worked. The help on this forum has been really good. Very knowledgeable bunch of people. Cheers
