Re: Cost of Front and back sensors

Hey SNUKE or Matty470

As you both have front sensors, could you shoot me a pic of where the button is located to switch em off

Jeep are telling me they will be mounting the button on the side of the centre console

Personally I'd like a setup on the actual centre console

I believe the higher end models have it near the Eco button?

They'll be aftermarket gear then. Insist on seeing a set in action, as products vary from useless to mildly annoying.

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Steve, I was going to ask them to show me before installing anything

I'm thinking the are going to charge me 1800 bucks as a genuine item to then send it away or get someone in to install a non genuine product!!

Mines an MY12 so it will be in a totally different position to an MY14.
It certainly sounds like they will be an aftermarket fitment and you shouldn't be paying anything like $1800.....

Cost of Front and back sensors

Here is a pic from an Overland, the Limited only has 3 buttons. The one on the very left is the Park Sense button.

There is a thread on JG somewhere about trying to use one of the blank buttons as a switch to open a garage door or similar.
