Re: Cruise Control . Just stops

Well that’s good to know, I had put you in the “Note even allowed to put air in my tyres” basket with that move.

RP7 is basically the same as WD40, and as such should not be used as a lubricant regardless of what the bottle says.
They are dispersants, that is, they will actually remove lubricants. So the lubricating effect they have is extremely short term. In that time that they are wet, they are great at attracting all kinds of fine to mid particles to get clogged in areas. So while they can be helpful for freeing up things, they should never be considered as the product that will actually be lubricating the object.
The best product in my opinion for freeing up things and actually leaving a residual lubricant is Wurth’s Rost Off, or Rost Off Plus or Rost Off Ice. I loved that shit in my workshop. WD40 was only used to clean out or break down old grease deposits in fiddly small mechanical areas.

It's also good to polish chrome 👍

Good luck with your dealer. I reported this issue in August and after several attempts to fix the issue I'm still awaiting a resolution.

Re: Cruise Control . Just stops

Reference Cruise Control not working and going off, see my posting on page 5 on 05/02/14, it seems to have been unnoticed or ignored, but it has been a 100% fix for my vehicle.

Just got a call from my servicing department and there is a new service bulletin that has just been released for the cruise shut off issue. Not sure of the number yet.
