Re: Dash Cams - Down Under

This from a MY12 SRT but would asume the same connector is there:

Looks like you connect to A8 Ground & A13 Fused Ign feed.

Info from this thread, re Radar Detectors: Hardwire Radar?? - 2014+ SRT/WK2

I made a how-to guys! I know you guys sit on the wrong side of the car and drive on the wrong side of the road, but maybe this will still apply if someone is looking for a hardwire guide.

Re: Dash Cams - Down Under

Just updated from the 500 blackvue to the 650 dual cam. Does anyone else have the issue with having always to switch wifi on to load up your smartphone? The 500 it was activated the minute you were near the car

Re: Dash Cams - Down Under

It's a setting in the menu, you can choose to have it turn on automatically on start up, or not.

Yep same as the 500 set it several times now. I might have a firmware glitch.

Re: Dash Cams - Down Under

Reinstall the latest firmware and see if that helps. I need to do that.

Re: Dash Cams - Down Under

RE the Blackvue 6502ch, can you turn off the annoying "blackvue is ......." messaging?. I don't need to know if it's starting recording or shutting down. I can see the lights!

Cheers

Re: Dash Cams - Down Under

More of a twist. Called the supplier he tells me you need to press the wifi button everytime you want to connect to a 650 he said this was an improvement over earlier models wtf. Why is there an option in settings then? Who else has a 650 dual with latest firmware that can 100% confirm one way or other.
