Daylight sensor.

Can anyone check if they unlock the car in broad day light, the headlamp projectors and drl light up too, and when you start the engine the projectors turn off.

I swear its wasnt the case in the past.

On some occasions my projectors remain lit in broad day light. I think the sensor cover on the dash is looking discoloured darkening brownish.

Re: Daylight sensor.

Yep, that is how ours work, all lights on, then HIDs off.

Re: Daylight sensor.

I thought my headlights were coming on too regularly in daylight hours (indicator on the dash kept coming on unless I was facing the sun). I had a brain wave and cleaned the top of the windscreen over the sensors and headlight operation miraculously returned to normal.

Re: Daylight sensor.

I find the lights go on all the time. I never run Auto mode, as it will kill the globe too quickly. With DRL's you do not need them unless it is dark.
