Re: Downunder - Orders to Delivery thread

I agree Oz. There seems to be several major steps in the whole process
1. Obtaining the Order Number: (Pain Factor ***)
2. Waiting for the Build Status to change from D1 to KZ: (Pain Factor ****)
3. Waiting for the car to actually get onto a train: (Pain Factor ***)
4. Watching the car sit on a wharf at Curtis Bay for sometimes weeks: (Pain Factor ****)
5. Waiting for the ship to Arrive at destination port: (Pain Factor **)
6. Waiting for the car to leave PrixCars: (Pain Factor **********)
7. Finding that the car being delivered is not what you ordered: (Pain Factor ****************)
8. Parting with your money at collection: (Pain Factor *)

Re: Downunder - Orders to Delivery thread

My True Blue CRD Laredo is due about then. I've been allocated a previously unallocated phantom dealer order that's already on its way

Re: Downunder - Orders to Delivery thread

Not at all - true blue is a deep navy blue, blackberry was more of a purpley-black to my eyes.

^ +1. Sorry was being sarcastic. Blackberry was still advertised in oz way after it was pulled from the options. the maximum steel is more like the blackberry now but a but more blue than purple.

Allan is right they either don't know or there is some procedural requirement that they don't provide VIN's until delivered.

If the dealer doesn't give the order number to you, you can ring Jeep Australia customer service in Melbourne and they can give the order number to you or at least pass you on the the state sales manager who can give it to you.
Tried that and got a very rude phonecall that basically meant F@#$ Off, its none of your business from the dealer.
