I drove through Heartland last weekend just for a sticky. This is where I have been taking my company Commodore for service over the past few years and they have always been OK, so I'm pretty happy that they are now a Jeep dealer - local to where I work. I'll show my age - I remember when it was Tony Packard "up the Windsor Road from Baulkham Hills".

They had quite a few GC in their yard - maybe 10 - 12, so you might get lucky with the model you want.

Rang today, and for a diesel said nothing until October in the limited or overland...

Have however now ordered a limited crd with luxury group 2(mineral grey). Will be available late next month. Was also offerred a overland same colour with offroad adventure pack for $8k more. I would prefer the overland however this one only has 18inch wheels and i know that would bug me. I wouldnt need the offroad pack, so dont think its worth it. But I am still having doubts as i really want a Overland

thoughts?

Re: Downunder - Orders to Delivery thread

I reckon you'd be able to find a Limited or Overland owner with the standard 20s who'd be interested in swapping for your 18s...

That's it right there. Will you be really happy knowing you didn't get exactly what you want, especially after spending that amount of money?

I was offered an Overland that was in stock but in a colour I didn't like. I knew full well that to get the colour I wanted I would have to order one. I chose to order, only because I knew I would regret not getting what I wanted.

serious?...who would want to do that?..I might just speak to the dealer and see what he can do to change the wheels. Cant really see someone wanting to downsize their wheels..or i may be confused, just speaking for myself i guess.

Re: Downunder - Orders to Delivery thread

If anyone wants to use proper offroad tyres they would need 18's as you cannot get a good range of offroad 20" rubber. I am sure if you did a call around of the dealers, you may find someone who bought aftermarket wheels and they have the OEM 20's as a tradein.

Looking forward to a picture showing off your new steps. Did you go chrome or black?
