Since signing up to this forum yesterday, I have checked the tracking info and confirmed it was unloaded at Port Kembla on 18/2.
My trade in runs out of rego on 4/3 so I want to trade it before then so I don't have to cough up for a greenslip and rego. Fingers crossed the Jeep gets released in the next week.
Well I hope you get lucky.......ours arrived in Brisbane on 10/2 on the Tarago and was boat 3 of 3 that had the load quarantined.
Strange story about "nuts" being found" as the reason - surely 3 in a row wouldn't have contaminants. I know before the vessels left the US there were heavy snows that may have left road residue underneath when vehicles were moved.
Latest update was they hadn't yet started to clear the Tarago shipment, the best estimate for us has delivery mid March. That will make nearly 6 months wait.
The AQUIS crew at Minto may be a bit more enthusiastic.
You'll be one of a very small minority that was able to get mitts on a CRD with only a 5 week wait.
