e-Tag Placement

Where is the best place to attach a Toll road tag, I'm finding that the much bigger rear view mirror does not provide a lot of options. Also to consider is the Headlight Auto Dimmer sensor, which limits the placement of this tag directly infront of the rear view mirror.

Re: e-Tag Placement

I've put mine on the passenger side of the rear view mirror mount. Hasn't impacted the auto headlight dimming camera

Re: e-Tag Placement

Mine is on the black dots behind the mirror. No issues with any of the sensors, just keep it up high.

Re: e-Tag Placement

What's the black dots for, I was reluctant to stick over them as it feels like they have been stuck on themselves and I guess there a engineering purpose behind them?

Re: e-Tag Placement

They just block the sun that cannot be blocked with the sunvisor.
Make sure you give a wipe of metho before sticking the tag on to ensure a clean surface for the tape.

Re: e-Tag Placement

All my current cars have the E-tags placed behind the rearview mirror on the passenger side.
They are also stuck to the black dots, they look ugly from outside so at least they are hidden from view. As Enforcer said, wipe with metho or isopropyl alcohol first, before sticking the holder on.
