Ha - you're right!!! I only looked quickly at it and though it was a warning not to store bottles there!!

Re: Fire Warning - Clear Plastic Drink Bottles

PS - I have found it is the perfect size my 1.5L water bottles which obviously wont go in the centre console holders!! But I only put them in there for when Im driving and take them with me afterwards....

You could have had the outside of your car be melted by a building, that would have been more interesting

Funny, but really they must have crap plastic in England. I haven't heard of any loud complaining of people who parked their cars at the beach at Perth or Adelaide when they had a week of +40C heat. But then it was England wasn't it

Re: Fire Warning - Clear Plastic Drink Bottles

My servo has this deal that if one buys two bottles of water each fill, they give a discount roughly equivalent to the cost of the bottles. I've given up trying to tell them I didn't come in to buy water so I just take them now. I now have every bottle holder in the car holding a bottle of water. Not a bad idea actually, for long trips.

Lucky it didn't happen in the states or we would be talking about lost resale values and class actions....

Thongs. You stash your thongs there?

Actually a hairdryer (blower bit down) stashes nicely there as well.

Currently though it's a nice holder for the leather cleaner/conditioner bottle and soft cloth. I often find myself parked up waiting for something to finish, be that soccer training or some other thing and I while away the time polishing. Handy to have the cloth etc close at hand.

Actually, I thought I should add before some of the US folk see this and think WTF, that thongs in Australia are called Flip-Flops in the US.

I'm fairly certain that Andrew doesn't stash his underwear in the door panel (although he might...)

Re: Fire Warning - Clear Plastic Drink Bottles

I find that it holds nothing very nicely.
Nothing always fits in just right, doesn't rattle, doesn't melt things.
I ran out of the nothing that came from the factory, but got a good deal on original Mopar Nothing to keep me topped up for the next 6 months or so.

Well actually....

Speaking of underwear, my wife was so excited about the sunroof on the overland, she started calling it the sunboob as she was planning to stand up in the car and flash the world (shes normally more modest!!!). Personally I would have gone with 'boobroof'.
