Flares

Looking at a set of flares just to help keep the the rocks ect of the side panels.

Was originally looking at the Bush Wacker flares - Search Results | Bushwacker but dont rerally like the look of the fake bolts in them and would rather a more straight clean look

Found these guys last night https://www.facebook.com/Exoflares who do custom flares, only trouble they are in Sydney and I am in Perth so makes it hard for them to measure the car up.

Anybody know of anything already available for the WK2 other than the Bush Wackers or interested in a straight cleaner looking set of flares?

Re: Flares

I google image searched those Exoflares, not disappointed with the results, I think you’re on a winner.

Re: Flares

They do seem to have some quality gear

I am thinking they are going to be a better option than the Bush Wackers with those fake bolts.

Only problem is I will have to wait for him to get his hands on one to design the molds up

Re: Flares

Well Snuke your pic didnt come up last time I looked at your reply

You must have a really twisted search engine on your computer, you certainly come up with some very strange stuff

One of those in each of your wheel arches will definitely stop rock damage.

Re: Flares

Looks like I may have to go for the Bushwackers
On account I lost one of my front ones on the weekend and dont really want to leave it like that until I can get the custom one made

I've sent off an enquiry and will pony up my car for him to make some moulds if that helps? I might get a set down the road at some stage.. I'm in Sydney..

Re: Flares

I ended up loosing my front flares on a day trip, I'm thinking because they were taken off to paint the skirts to body colour and then they would have been removed again when the Bull Bar was fitted the double sided tape that basically holds them on was not replaced with decent stuff.
So with little options available I ended up going with the Bush Whackers.

Quiet happy with the end result and the extra width should stop stones getting flicked up into the side panels

Now just waiting on the release of Chief Products rear bar and tyre carrier and I will be happy
