Mine have a mind of their own but they mainly remain folded but occassionally, Jeepishly they will simply unfold on startup......

Do you know how to return back tilt system to original??
I just pressed power tilt lever4 seconds and never move tilt original position at "easy exit" option... please help..

Re: Folding Mirrors

What's or where is the tilt button? Or do you mean the fold button?

No... Power tilt / telescoping colume lever located below multifunction lever at steering.

Re: Folding Mirrors

turn the easy exit option off. If you use this option it should return to the preset position once the car is started.

Re: Folding Mirrors

You may need to describe better what you want to do and what it is doing, as it is not clear.
When I had the easy exit, it would just raise the whole wheel and move the seat back. It would do the reverse when I hit the starter.

Re: Folding Mirrors

I set this function a few months ago and freaked my daughter in the back, it gave her very little room to get in or out. It's also a bugger if you have a bag in the back. I've since deactivated it, unless you have a large body frame you really don't need it.

Me too , deactivated mine although I am a lttle on the "portly side". Main reason for deactivation was potential wear and tear on the seat motor system.

Vincekim9, you're sure your steering tilt is not at the extremes of it's movement at your preferred driving position, therefore having nowhere to retract? If that's not the case, the dealer should be able to reprogram it.
