Front headrests

Anyone know how to get the front headrests out? Got a DVD player that I want to put in that replaces them. Any advice appreciated.

Re: Front headrests

After you rasie the headrest to highest position you have to actually pop off one of the black plastic covers where there is a release, do some more searching I remember I had to take mine out a year ago and found it on here with more precise instructions

If the AHR is not reconnected , your airbag MIL will probably stay on. Not sure if anything else will be disabled.

I didn't think there was an AHR compatible headrest DVD system.

Thats why the seat DVD option, costs a bomb and looks like this...

Re: Front headrests

Any follow up on this? I just bought, I got these headrests
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o02_s00

I am just wondering how I can install these and still keep that wire enabled? for the airbag

Thanks in advance
