Re: Grand Cherokee in the media

LOL, I didn't pick that one up:

Initially the service department at the Jeep dealership informed me that all Jeeps pull to the left as a safety precaution to prevent you from having a head on collision in the event that the client loses consciousness.

I assume that Jeep feels driving into a tree or pole is much safer!

lulz, the pulling left excuse list is pretty decent, i've had:

* Safety reasons
* Because American car they drive on the other side of the road
* Road camber (even when not)
* All cars do that

We could start a thread on 'piss weak dealer excuses'... I still laugh about the dpf failed regen excuse made to one owners: you need to be going 109kph for the regen to work

Re: Grand Cherokee in the media

I was told that voice recognition to Nav wasn't fitted because it's illegal in Australia. When I highlighted other vehicles with it, I was told that "we're not concerned whether other manufacturers break the law".

Cheers,
Steve

The 2017 Grand Cherokee spy shots. Looks like a squarer front fascia under that cover:

Re: Grand Cherokee in the media

It didn't look any different to our 2014 except maybe the wheels?

Re: Grand Cherokee in the media

Its hard to make out, but the bumper doesn't have that sloping smile line that the current model has. Seems to go straight across. And the slots look wider, must run up closer to the headlight.

Re: Grand Cherokee in the media

Seems that the Jeep Facebook site has had all the visitor posts deleted. There has been a lot of agro comments lately so wonder if JA have just locked the site?

Nothing like telling your aggrieved customers "p!ss off, we don't want to hear from you".
