Just came back from Stockton Beach today.
About 40km of sand driving (40-55km/h) without a single problem.
The clearance was a bit low (std suspension) with the side steps but I didn't get bogged or encountered the failure discussed in this thread.

Ordered 2nd Nov 2011 - Arrived 30th March 2012, GC Laredo 3.0L Deisel, Stone White with Towbar, Roof Bars, Thule Roof Basket and Darkest Legal Tint. Front Recovery hook installed 5th June:thumbsup:
Rockrails and skid plates installed 2nd Sept. Long Range Fuel tank fitted 9th Sept. Bullbar, lift kit & new tyres? Who knows......
