I got the same response last night. Flipped it into sport at the lights and got a sarcastic "Here we go" as she rolled her eyes.

youre reply should be i have to use the various modes several times a week to keep them lubricated if i dont they could freeze up

While slightly off topic, one thing I do appreciate is the sensible implementation of the seat belt chime. I often start the car for a few seconds before I getting in - my 97 Laredo used to "chime" LOUDLY as I wasnt buckled up. (ended up disconnecting a wire on the on the seat beat 'roll' within the B pillar - couldnt stand it)
Thankfully the 2012 has a bit more smarts and will actually tolerate the seat belt being disconnected for a FEW seconds if you reach over to get something. Noice
