Hi all,

Does anyone know how to stop the door open chime, when you are stopped and the ignition is in ACC position? (Besides closing the door)

Not tried it, but what if the car is in park?

Not sure how to fix this on my WK2, but I remember my old KJ had the same problem (It's a Jeep thing), and pretty sure we fixed it by removing a fuse or the wire to the chime.
I daresay the technology on the WK2 with the computer and CANBUS wiring, it may not be as easy. For now, I just shut the door.

Cleaning the car yesterday....no chime with front passenger door open!! Only the drivers door. I think this might be an oversight with the car design (being based on an American RHD platform) however something that might be fixable with a TSB/Flash?

Talking of chimes, should I get a chime when I go automatically into Aero mode at 100kmh? The EVIC shows up but there is no chime. I thought it did when I first drove it.

While slightly off topic, one thing I do appreciate is the sensible implementation of the seat belt chime. I often start the car for a few seconds before I getting in - my 97 Laredo used to "chime" LOUDLY as I wasnt buckled up. (ended up disconnecting a wire on the on the seat beat 'roll' within the B pillar - couldnt stand it)
Thankfully the 2012 has a bit more smarts and will actually tolerate the seat belt being disconnected for a FEW seconds if you reach over to get something. Noice
