re: I bought a Jeep - started a Mistake.....but now???

We can have issues with with ANYTHING we buy, and nothing these days is built to actually last but how these companies with to deal with the issues leaves a lot to be desired!

If there is a issue with something (especially when it is brand new), fix it or if it can not be fixed in an acceptable time frame then replace it!

There should be no need for the arguments and threats of legal action

Hope it is all sorted and you are back on the road ASAP nicjak

Did you buy this 2012 GC just recently, or near new back in 2012?

I just brought a new pencil last week. Well! I'd only just been writing my first sentence with it and the tip broke off.

For fu#% sake! shut this thread down.

This post could have been helpful if you identified the brand and lead number of the pencil. For all we know you could have been using an ultra soft lead and been pressing too hard.

Second hand gc 5.7 overland 25500km on the clock new short block went in at 24500km checked all the history with jeep as I have friends in high places there engine had smoke issue after parking and starting on hills, also oil lights would come on but all tested ok. Chrysler thought best and cheapest option was new shortblock. As it is all still under warranty and a great buy at 42k I couldnt pass it up. Hope its either a failing battery or something loose from the engine changeover.

If you don't want to read about the difficulties others are experiencing and have some empathy for the lack of support they receive... I suppose you could just nick off in silence?

Good to hear you're back on the road Mark. What an epic clusterfark and massive stress for you.

Cheers,
Steve

You must remember majority of people don't post if there's nothing wrong. You rarely read a thread that someone praises how good or flawless a car is.. Like you don't go looking for an answer if there's nothing wrong.

I too offered Mark my support back at Post #37.

I sincerely hope that, one day, Mark can say that despite a troubled beginning that it was indeed not a mistake to buy a Jeep.

That's great news Mark, I was avoiding this thread as it was getting a bit depressing, but seems all it took was finding a competent service center.

re: I bought a Jeep - started a Mistake.....but now???

Perhaps the solution to NIGELH's issue would be to rename the thread to something like "I Bought a Jeep, and Thought I Had Made a Mistake"
