Re: If I Could, What Would I Change on the WK2?

I know this is thread is for you export guys but how about a stock 18" tire size that is common so that we could get some real at tires in the stock size.

electric E brake. That comes on when you select park. With manual override.

Don't drink and drive! (coffee = not in control of vehicle)

X2 I can't understand why they didn't think of this, would have been so much better and it would fit right in with the level of technology of the car.

Re: If I Could, What Would I Change on the WK2?

[QUOTE=WK2JGC;568364](1) loose the foot brake, there are better ways in 2012 to keep the car from moving.

(2) Panel gaps - even the koreans have got this down pat.

(3) indicators in the mirrors, your already doing it in the USA, why be different here?

this is a dam fine car, and I have seen all types of people trade some of the best brand cars for these. Jeep Australia, understand one thing, get your customer service levels right, and you can't loose.......the products right, timing right, the rest, costs very little and will keep your new clients loyal.
[That Foot Brake is the biggest looser for me. Anyone with long legs can do some serious shin damage on this pedal in an accident-I took a lil chink out on the test drive and was my only big turn off- Tehy need to sort this.
Panel gaps...used to LR-say no more. RS ADR regs really do effect our cars and unfortunastly not always in good ways..]

Re: If I Could, What Would I Change on the WK2?

Front Tow hook - I am waiting for that to be resolved before I dive in and get one. That is really about it
O yeah and knock $20k off the car so I don't have to hear about it from the wife (although I think she is starting to come around on the value proposition).
Those cool seats sounds, well, cool, but don't think I can justify the price.

Re: If I Could, What Would I Change on the WK2?

To all of you wishing the car had an electric brake, I am sure this guy and the tow truck drivers and 10kms of traffic wished he had a mechanically operated one

Re: If I Could, What Would I Change on the WK2?

yeah I was reading that today. I guess we all want the Gizmo's until they all go wrong.
I bet they were not doing something simple and made a mountain out of a molehill. I would not expect an A8 to have a problem that would cause this result, more like they did not know how to fix it.
