I would therefore suggest that dealership is a no starter. But it does raise a question. If that dealer believes they would not be able to order 20 GC's, then how does the process work?
Why do they need allocation to supply cars specifically ordered? Assuming buyers are willing to wait for the cars to be built to order, then there is no "allocation" as such. Th allocation system is dealers bidding for a pool of cars managed by the importer.

So which way is the system working? Can we get a build to order or has JeepAU simply ordered a large pool of various builds and is allocating to dealers from this pool? If that is the case then late buyers will have little choice or have to forego accessories or options.

I think what they are saying is because they wil only get X amount of cars per delivery people may have to wait a month or two long than others on the list... Either that or that just don't care about sales...

That is an interesting reply. I don't think that it can't be done. Maybe they just need to be reminded that the group controls a purchasing power of over a $1,000,000 and to put the pressure on Jeep Aus to get the orders to the front of the cue.

Alan, so be it, we have more than enough dealers to quote from, in fact too many.

SNUKE, do you have an idea of when the first quotes will be available? I am thinking will need to give an answer to my dealer that is holding a car for me pretty soon.

Thanks

I assume these are without any accessories?

And are you sure it's drive away?

Re: Interested in a possible MY14 bulk purchase order (Australia only)

Curious, why would the dealers in Castle Hill and Waitara have no dealer delivery fees? Is this a mistake on the website maybe?

You would need to email SNUKE. His email is here somewhere. You may need to be vetted now, as to make sure you are not a dealer or friend of. Possibly even go blind on the price until there is a result.

If you are keen, get the email in ASAP because he is about to send out the final list today.

Cheers

That is a bit of a mystery, and really a question you might ask a potential salesman if they add such a charge. I guess it is a way to add extra markup on the price by masking it as a cost incurred.
It is similar, but not, to the "premium paint charge" where every colour is "premium", even though the cars are sold in the US, and all colours are "standard" Problem with the premium paint charge, is that ALL dealers hit you with it.
