Jeep dealer? From what I've read the car's computer needs to be told that a tow bar is fitted so that the plug powers up properly. The Jeep tow bar is made by an NZ company under license so you can't get it anywhere other than Jeep. I think Hayman-Reece may have a suitable tow bar, but it will still need a trip to the dealer to get the computer sorted out.

- stainless steel door sill guards
justforjeeps.com about $A100 including shipping, arrived in about a week. I think there is a discount code for forum members, dig around the retailers section.

- tubular side steps or rock rails
Any pointers appreciated
Try the dealer for rock rails, it looks like they are in short supply in the US, not sure what they are like out here.

visualgarage.com will do a colour matched Shark Fin antenna for about $A100 including shipping, takes about 3 weeks to get here. Jeeps aren't listed on the site but just send them an email and they'll send a PayPal invoice.

Jase

2011 CRD WK2

Dark Charcoal.

Test drove, paid for & picked up October 2011

Added Titanium window tint, stainless nudge bar, lightforce 240 Blitz & Rocky Road 2.5" lift

Now searching for good 18" A/T tyres at reasonable price, Coopers over priced.

Re: Introduce Yourself

This was before the wheel alignment done after fitting the lift kit, so a bit much positive camber showing

Re: Introduce Yourself

Nice.

I assume you GC is a MY11 that had the original recovery hooks and this allowed you to fit the nudge bar?

Re: Introduce Yourself

Not sure, but original recover hooks had to be removed as that is where the nudge bar mounts, I have just been lazy & not worked out another place to mount a front hook yet.

NAME: Josh

VEHICLE: MY14 Overland White 3.6 Due in July + 2011 JK 2 Door CRD

MODS: Ordering Rock Rails + Under Skid Plates , JK's got most stuff, lift, muddies, winch, front and rear bar with tire carrier, snorkel... LOVE THE JEEPS!!

DATE ORDERED: 09/03/2013

DATE DELIVERED: Submitted E Number today so just waiting to see where the new baby is!

Have had two wrangler so far, the current JK is the most I have every modified anything & have loved the process.. This however will be the first GC I have ever had... Went the overland as I own a computer store and love gadgets so the air shocks were a must!...

The GC will be my wifes, she wanted a Range Rover Evoque however we borrowed one for a weekend and I hit a gutter and bent the rear shock and arm so she tought it had bad luck.. So I was then given the green light for her second choice -- THE GC!... Although Range Rover charged me $1000 for the test drive, im so happy with how its worked out... Cant wait for MY "sorry her" new baby to arrive.. haha

Thanks for all the help from people so far

Josh
