What app is it?

Hi Snuke. It's not the app that creates the issue. The moment I connect the OBD2 to the vehicle, the alarm comes on. This is before I connect to the wifi. I've also looked at Static IP and DHCP to see if there are any protocol issues. It doesn't matter which wifi connection I use.

I have tried OBD Fusion, EngineLink HD and DashCmd. Neither of these apps display errors in their diagnostics pages. It seems to be the VGATE device that creates the error. It does seem to be more a Jeep thing ATM.

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Witnessed my first regen, was heading off on a camp trip through the gap and kepperra and dpf was at 77% full, even in stop start the CAT temp came up and stayed around high 500-low 600 degrees. About 15mins later the dpf value updated and said 8.8%..... My speed wouldn't have got above 70kph during this.

My dongle also seems to disconnect from torque when the ignition is off (it's just a cheap one of eBay) so maybe it's got something to do with torque being on at engine start up?
I get this too.

This is a strange one, I'm using the same dongle (though have only driven the car once with the new iCar3 dongle, as opposed to my old ELM WiFi .)

I'll certainly let you know if I do have any issues, (though away for work for most if not all this week, so probably won't drive it till the weekend.)

Good luck.

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

My iCar3 turned up today, plugged it into the Falcon I was driving, it won't stay there, the fuse cover wouldn't shut anyway with it there.
It is not powering off, although I don't actually lock the car at home, so will see if that changes now that I have just locked it.

Not a fan of the EOBD Facile Apps interface, are there any other iOS apps that people recommend with custom PIDs options?
I downloaded another, iOBD2, but it wouldn't even connect.
Engine Link seems like a decent one - https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/engi...591557194?mt=8

Engine link is garbage in my opinion..

OBD Fusion is the one you're after, April will have another update too..

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

I watched some videos about Engine Link after posting that and got turned off by its clunky UI. Fusion sounds familiar form these forums, and the UI looks far better.

My iCar3 did not turn off, even with car locked. I pulled it out an hour or so later, will put it in the Jeep tomorrow.

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

It won't turn off if you maintain the wifi connection to it, if you disconnect the app, but keep you iOS device connected to it via wifi it won't go to sleep... Just my experience..

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Apps were shut, nothing was connected via WiFi. I had the phone on the home WiFi, and could still see it broadcasting as available network on the laptop.

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

I installed it in the GC tonight, started and then turned off, it was not connected to anything. 3hrs later it was still broadcasting WiFi. Locked the car and it turned off after 30mins.
