Re: Jeep Australia Servicing Deals

Just read the paperwork. It appears to be just the same as the Jeep waranty. Just contact Jeep re warranty and they fix it and contact the insurance company re payment. Again it must be serviced according to the service schedule.

I have done 11,100km no service light yet.
My service light never came on for 12k, went in just a tad under though.... At the 24k service it came on at 23400km roughly.... so maybe there is some merit in its cleverness....

Re: Jeep Australia Servicing Deals

stupid thing is I drove out the yard and thought this feels spongy.
Drove to the servo and checked them pumped them up.
Jumped in the car drove of and realised I had tyre pressure monitoring!

Re: Jeep Australia Servicing Deals

So can the AG insurance option be purchased after I sign for the vehicle? From what I read I would say yes but maybe less leverage on price?

Also make me wonder if I can go direct to AG cutting out the Jeep overhead they would charge

Re: Jeep Australia Servicing Deals

I just rang AG and got a quote for the new car extended warranty. However, I notice in the PDS that:

To be eligible for this Policy
> The covered vehicle must be a motor vehicle with carrying capacity of less
than 2 tonnes.

So I think this rules out the CRD

Umm, I don't quite read it that way.....I can't find anywhere a stated load capacity but the maximum gross vehicle weight is 2949kg in the Au brochure.
The CRD base kerb weight with QL is 2355kg.
By my calcs a carrying capacity of 594kg.
Wouldn't it easily qualify?
John
