Re: Jeep Navigation System Fail

I missed tha post, but saw someone refer to it. Their FB page is run by a PR firm, not Jeep or Chrsyler, dodge fiat etc…
They’re a crap PR firm, suit JA perfectly.

Re: Jeep Navigation System Fail

so does the update apply to my14? I haven't received any letter. allypally - is it possible to image the disc you have and upload so that we can update ourselves or do we still need the code in the letter?

Re: Jeep Navigation System Fail

Hi All - acknowledging that this is a JGC thread, can anyone offer advice on whether similar action is being taken for other Jeep models? I bought a JK Wrangler in Dec 2011 and have been suffering the same issues with my nav system (an REP unit) as described in this thread. I called Jeep Assist and cited this thread but was informed that the 'free update' / fault rectification doesn't apply to my unit. Do I have to start my own court case?

Snuke is correct. Unfortunately for you, the court action related to a Grand Cherokee, and that's all that Jeep promised to fix. You would need to take the matter to a tribunal. Good thing for you is you should have a very good probability to get a judgement in your favour, especially if you cited the Canberra tribunal case.

Re: Jeep Navigation System = "Fail"

Is there a particular legal representative I should approach (someone familiar with the previous action)? I am in Canberra too.

Canberra is the "perfect" location for an action. You need the ACT Tribunal.
Look up a forum member, Bungendore. You will see posts from them in this thread. She should be able to supply you with the most efficient means to get your case heard. If you get the same judge, I would say you are in for a very pleasant hearing.
