Re: Jeep Navigation System = "Fail"

Worked it out. You hold down the minus volume button the the steering wheel.
Also found a phamflet for the seats, they are quiet nice.
If someone is looking at getting them done I can take a photo of it for you

Re: Jeep Navigation System Fail

Well I had mine in at my local dealer for the second time yesterday to try and fix this satnav issue.
Finally.................we have a result!!

They had to replace my 730N headunit and then the new updates could be installed.
So far so good. It hasn't lost me once yet and it took me straight home the way I would have gone too.............winner..

Big thanks again to Bungendore for all his efforts in getting Jeep to admit there was a problem and to solve it for us owners..........:thumbsup.

Matty, make sure they have recorded and coded your new unit to your VIN.

I reckon that is the HiTv sat Nov it is after market job and they go into the head unit JA told me that if there are any issues with the head unit or connectivity there'll be no warranty.....
I had them take it off my contract .

Re: Jeep Navigation System = "Fail"

This is certainly and aftermarket package... Great if it works but you should ask them how you update your radio? In the first 2 years of this product there will be a lot of updates. I was looking at 14.11.04 yesterday with some phone testing.

Before anyone asks, They didn't let me play with it so I don't know if the VR on the SATNAV has been dealt with.

Yeah no idea and dont really care as its just a loan car.
Was pretty impressed with the system thougj and it picked up bish trails when I was up home which was a surprise. Also had heaps of options with crash zones and the like to have warnings come up which was nice but I soon turned them off as I knew the roads well. Would be handy in an area you didnt know.

If it is the HiTv it is running IGoPrimo which is a pretty cool smooth running system.
HiTv stated they would put out yearly updates, to be purchased of course.

Cheers
