Also as of today they now use caltex oil (I suspect havoline fully synthetic c3) however she was only told this morning and going to email me the details.. They still have shell helix ultra extra or can get the it preferred

What's Natasha's position at the dealership?

Btw Rolfe here in Canberra also use caltex oil.

Only down fall is you waste a whole day hanging around. I'm tossing up doing the same...

Re: Jeep service costs

Perhaps we should setup a specific date per month for Forum members to have servicing done at Narellan. That way it could become a meetup. Was going to say have a meet in a local pub, but the end result may be chaotic.

My dashcam filmed the last 2 services, so I know they took under 1hr to do my CRD's service (excluding oil as I changed it).
If my dealer wants to charge fixed price, then so be it, but if they charge by the hour, then that is all they should get.
I worked as a dealer mechanic for Toyota and we used to do a logbook 2.5hr service in under 1.2hrs and would be paid a bonus for doing them quickly. The usually meant we cut corners, but were also good at doing what mattered.

Dealers really need to pull up their socks if they want to charge BMW rates for service.
Hard to have any trust in our dealers

It's out of my way but I'm a regular there so count me in also.

I got the promotional code, but eStore has been down for a few days, probably never up again. But the price after discount w/o freight is $100+

Re: Jeep service costs

Is there a thread that has where everyone got the best price on an item and where they got it from?

The prices vary so much with things for the jeep like the mud flaps anf it would be good to see what is about the right price and where people got it from
