Re: Jeep service costs

Very helpful servicing price list for all power plant variants from a regional QLD dealer.

Different options in the tabs - 2011-2014 WK Grand Cherokee Service Schedule

I like the costs breakdown. Will be interesting to compare to what is done down here.

Re: Jeep service costs

With no 3.6L Australian servicing schedule listed in the Service and Warranty book provided with the new Jeep, not to mention that it was last updated in 2007. I think I'll use this documented schedule published by Chrysler Group LLC in the 2014 Grand Cherokee Owners Manual 8th edition, for my Jeep....

Re: Jeep service costs

Getting near for the 6months/10K service which will be next month, have only driven 6K though....and also got a letter yesterday regarding the P44 recall.
I got few quotes (as I live in the hills district)
Blacktown - $520
Parramatta - $530
Castle Hill - $500-550

Has anyone recently had service done at any of the above locations???
Any thoughts on the prices or other locations would be appreciated.
thanks.......

That looks about "ball park" to quotes I've found down here in Vic. The prices nearing the $550 mark are starting to look a bit high.

$350 at Macarthur Jeep in Narellan if you feel like travelling that far. That was our 10,000 service in November '13. Not sure if the price is the same now - might be worth ringing.

Re: Jeep service costs

This was the Waitara pricing a year ago, not sure if it has changed.

I know we can always do better by supplying our own oil, but as far as the above prices are concerned, anybody have similar quotes/costs? PS, My 10k service was $430 at Albion.
to answer your question yes the cost of dealer service is a bit over the top .i suggest that while the JGC is under warranty use the dealership as they must put the rebuilds or TSB s during the service .then when its out of warranty take it to a reconmmended diesel 4x4 mechanic i say shop around .there is a rebuild for rear schockers and at 20k service they must replace the brake booster my dealer tells me .as to why an important thing like the brake booster is not a recall astounds me be assured from my very bad expierence from Jeep Chrysler H Office Melb who could not give a shit to their customers .Take my advice my dealer gave me another JGC
