Re: Jeep service costs

Snuke posted this link some time back, it suggests $261

Sounds like they have quoted you the diesel service price.

Re: Jeep service costs

Hello all. I have looked thru the last 30 odd pages with no luck, and search came up with 0! Just after a reference price point for 30k CRD service in Adelaide. Anyone overly happy with a particular service centre, any to avoid?

Thanks for any info.

Glad I'm using the OEM Maintenance schedule for the 3.6L.
This expense only comes around every 12 months or when the vehicle fully variable algorithm based automatic oil change indicator system calls for a service.
With 6035Km on the clock and 50% remaining, I'm looking spot on for a service 12 months from the build date.

I've been quoted $513.59 for the 30k service here in Melbourne for my CRD. Hope this helps. Not sure how accurate my quotes are as I haven't had an actual service yet. Rapidly approaching the 10k, less than a 1000k to go. Will know for sure how accurate my quotes are once I'm actually charged.

Thought it was 6 months/12,000km between services, what is this OEM maintenance schedule you speak of?

Cheers, Simon

Simon
The 2007 servicing schedule provided to me, does not list the 3.6L or align with the current fluid intervals for coolant, spark plug maintenance life or take into account the oil life monitor designed into the vehicle. After writing a letter to JA, they advised there is no updated schedule for the 3.6L and knew of the short fall in the book.
So with no documented schedule in Aus that is current and aligns with information released by Chrysler LLC for the 2014 model, I'm using the 2014 8th edition maintenance schedule that is published by the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM).
"It is a regular maintenance schedule" It's current and was developed by the vehicle manufacturer for the 2014 3.6L and its life-limited or recurring maintenance components and fluids.
I'll send you a PM.

Re: Jeep service costs

The dealers can keep phoning and sending me letters but I'll service the Jeep when it tells me to.
