Just to let you know -my SSV just had a service that included $5.95 for a sumptuous plug. Sounds like the service depts all follow the leader for new and inventive charges.

Totally understand that. Seriously when you've paid $60k/$70k for a vehicle and probably another $5k on after market goodies are you really going to quibble about maybe an extra $100 service cost every 6 months!

Never had a problem paying for convenience either. It just sux now that people are starting to use some of the toll roads around Brisbane. I used to have them all to myself.

Hi Everyone,
Has any one had a 80 klm service done on a 2012 diesel jeep and how much did they sting you for.
Only 5K to go and want to limit the shock.
Thanks

Re: Jeep service costs

Moving to Melbourne with the family for work at the end of the year.
Fellow Jeep owners in Melbourne and Geelong, are then any recommendations for Dealerships that has given you good quality service for scheduled maintenance at a competitive price?

Lucky you! I'm happy with Bayford Hawthorn, so far! Being a new Jeep dealership here they have been very accommodating. Time will tell if they drop the ball.

I haven't had to take my car in there (Bayford Jeep) yet, but I did have a Service related question which I e-mailed to my Sales Guy. He immediately forwarded my e-mail to Dave in Service who called the same day to discuss.

Well done Bayford Jeep :-)

Re: Jeep service costs

Back in 2000 - 2004, when I had my WJ Grand Cherokee, I took my car to "Poly 4x4" in Huntingdale (Melbourne). They are Jeep specialists.

They were very good; true Jeep lovers but I don't hear much about them here on this site. I found out about them from the "Ausjeepoffroad" site. A lot of those members get their Jeeps serviced at Poly 4x4 in Melbourne.

Maybe worth a look
