Re: Jeep service costs

Car booked in for 30k service at Cricks Mt Gravatt. Quoted 470. Seems reasonable. I think the 30k has more too it?

Previous 10 and 20k were around the 400 mark If i recall correctly

Re: Jeep service costs

Fixed my oil life reset issue.
After watching both those videos above in the car and trying the export version again and again, I decided to open the owners manual and try that procedure. Shock Horror, it worked.

1. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the ENGINE START/STOP button and cycle the ignition to the ON/ RUN position (Do not start the engine).
2. Slowly depress the accelerator to the floor and release it three times within 10 seconds.
3. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the ENGINE START/STOP button once to return the ignition to the OFF/LOCK position.

The 10k, 30k, 50k, etc are just oil changes. The 20k has some more filters to change, and the 40k (80k, 120k) is a big one.

If you are going to cricks they often have vouchers on their website:

Re: Jeep service costs

My 10k service at cricks was $382, with a $50 voucher.
It included Castrol oil, oil filter, and Windshield fluid.

My recent 20k service at Taringa Jeep was $560 (yep, they are expensive, but convenient).
It included Mopar Oil and filter, engine air filter, cabin and ac filters replaced, windscreen fluid.

Re: Jeep service costs

I rang Cricks Mt Gravatt and was quoted $1050 for a 40k service. Murchisons quoted $760 with Mopar parts. I will be in Wyong NSW next month and was quoted $530 with Ryco filters and Penrite oil from Shents Automotive.

Re: Jeep service costs

Extremely good news.

Service costs are about $170 cheaper than previous for standard servicing, and a huge $450 cheaper for the major service.

40k service $846.78
50k service $388.85

Very very happy with this news.

Re: Jeep service costs

About time! Agree, a 5 year warranty would top it off. And it goes without saying, if FCA could lift their customer service game then life would be just peachy!

Re: Jeep service costs

Sounds like they are getting their sh!t sorted:

The company has also moved to introduce 24-hour Monday to Friday operations for its parts warehouse, along with a new fast-delivery service and an increase in customer care staffing.
