Re: Jeep, Wife & Makeup

Didn't Chrysler at one time actually put in the owner's manual not to use ArmorAll specifically?

Looks like they still do at least on the vinyl surfaces - Cleaning Interior Trim

Interior Trim should be cleaned starting with a damp cloth, a damp cloth with MOPAR Total Clean or equivalent, then MOPAR Spot & Stain Remover or equivalent if absolutely necessary. Do not use harsh cleaners or ArmorAll . Use MOPAR Total Clean or equivalent to clean vinyl upholstery.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant which I is found at autobarn..

Go to any detailing forum and Armor All doesnt get a good wrap..
Not the same stuff. This one is labelled "Armor All New Car Protectant". It's not greasy or shiny. I also only use it on plastics, the leather is treated with Meguiars Gold Cass Leather Gel.

Re: Jeep, Wife & Makeup

This is the stuff that I am talking about that works well on leather. Comes in what is basically a ketchup bottle and seems to last forever. In contrast a $30 bottler of Adams leather conditioner is 1/3 gone after one use and gives a shine, not a nice luster like the cheaper amor-all product.

Re: Jeep, Wife & Makeup

I use Zainos products from the US. It tops a lot of ratings on car detailing forums. Contains Mink Oil and smells like leather. Makes the leather supple and lasts for months.
